About Me

I am a third-year PhD student in Computer Engineering at the sAIfer lab, in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Cagliari (UNICA), Italy. My research, from a broad perspective, focuses on Adversarial Machine Learning and its applications in the cybersecurity domain.

Research Interest

My research focuses on developing robust machine learning systems in the cybersecurity domain. I am particularly interested in:

  • Machine Learning applied to Cybersecurity
  • Privacy-Preserving ML
  • Machine Learning Security

Short Bio

Giuseppe Floris is a PhD student in Computer Engineering from the University of Cagliari (UNICA), Italy, where he focuses on AI security. He obtained his BSc in Electrical, Electronic, and Computer Engineering from the University of Cagliari in February 2019. He then obtained, in September 2023, his MSc (with honors) in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Cybersecurity from the same university.
